The ISFM Congress has not only become synonymous with excellent CPD but also with an imaginative and fun social programme. Each year we hold our renowned Saturday night party where guests have the opportunity to dress up and dance the night away in a stunning venue. We also always factor in some time out for delegates, so that you get the chance to relax and experience the city. This year you have the opportunity to see the famous Lipizzaner stallions perform at the Spanish Riding School.

will give you the chance to catch up with old friends and colleagues, and meet other

Saturday 25 June, 11.00-12.20

The Saturday morning of congress is free time and we have secured tickets for a performance at the Spanish Riding School. The oldest classical dressage riding school in the world, featuring the famous Lipizzaner stallions, the Spanish Riding School is the only institution where the classic equestrian skills (haute école) have been preserved and are still practised in their original form.
The Saturday morning performance lasts for 80 minutes and is made unforgettable by the precision of movement of the Lipizzan horses in perfect harmony with the music, all within arguably the most beautiful riding hall in the world.

Our traditional Saturday night dinner party, kindly sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim, will be held in one of the most exclusive and splendid buildings in Vienna, the Kursalon. Constructed in the mid-19th century in the style of the Italian Renaissance, today its ambience is a combination of historic grandeur and Mediterranean flair.
After drinks on the terrace, dinner will be served within one of the exquisite ballrooms, surrounded by elegant chandeliers and terraces with park views, after which everyone will be encouraged to dance the night away!
