For the third consecutive year, the pre-BSAVA Congress feline symposium organised by the veterinary wing of the Feline Advisory Bureau had a capacity audience of 300 vets - a good omen for the charity’s first symposium under the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) banner. The ISFM, formed in response to strong worldwide interest in feline health out of the European Society (ESFM), was launched at BSAVA Congress in April.
 
A survey of all delegates immediately after the ISFM symposium indicated that 88% rated the lectures as very good or excellent, 84% considered the overall scientific content of the conference as very good or excellent and 82 % as very good or excellent value for money.  Many delegates commented that the information was very relevant to them in practice.
