For the first time, the International Society of Feline Medicine (ISFM) will be hosting a seminar at the London Vet Show, on Thursday 24 November from 9.00am to 1.00pm. It will be the first opportunity practitioners will have to take a close look at the latest initiative from ISFM – the ISFM Purina Wellcat for Life Programme – and it will be free to those who register to attend.
The theme of the ISFM seminar is developing a cat friendly clinic and business. Using a very practical approach, topics covered include why cats need special attention, implications for cats in the veterinary clinic, putting the cat friendly clinic into action in general practice, and will introduce the new ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic Standard (part of the ISFM Purina Wellcat for Life Programme). Speakers are Feline Specialists Andy Sparkes, Andrea Harvey and Martha Cannon.
Information on the ISFM Purina Wellcat for Life Programme will also be available at the ISFM stand (N50) at the London Vet Show.
